Introduction

The International Society for the Study of Celiac Disease (ISSCD) is the leading global professional organisation dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge, education, and quality of care in celiac disease and gluten mediated human disease.

As an international society, the ISSCD promotes excellence in the field by supporting international research efforts, coordinating scientific initiatives, and facilitating the exchange of ideas and information across disciplines and regions.

Its work enhances the understanding of celiac disease and related conditions and helps improve diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes globally.
