Asia Pacific ISSCD Committee

As celiac disease continues to emerge across the globe, the Asia Pacific region is also witnessing a rise in patients with celiac disease. Therefore, there is a need to establish a Committee within this region; the Asia Pacific Society for the Study of Celiac Disease (APSSCD).

The Committee's objectives are:

  1. Improve the knowledge, awareness and specialist expertise of celiac disease within the Asia Pacific region
  2. Encourage the expansion of clinical research centers and promote the involvement of the region in global pharmaceutical development programs
  3. Develop appropriate guidelines for standardising and optimising the care of patients with celiac disease

The Committee will also seek to facilitate Asian language communications with relevant groups.

Please see the Terms of Reference for this committee. If you would like to be considered, please send your CV and a letter of intent via email to info@ISSCD-global.org by 31 March 2025. Your expression of interest will then be forwarded to the Board of the ISSCD for review. To be a member of a Committee, you must also be a member of the ISSCD.
