ICDS Sheffield, 5-7 September 2024

International Celiac Disease Symposium, 5-7 September 2024, Sheffield, UK

The next ICDS, will be hosted in Sheffield, UK. The interest in coeliac disease and the broader spectrum of gluten-related diseases, has never been greater. Significant progress has been made in the understanding of the pathogenesis of coeliac disease. Cohort studies have shed light on the natural history of celiac disease paving the way for prevention strategies. There have also been developments in new diagnostic tools and protocols. A growing number of clinical trials are being undertaken with the ultimate aim to obtain a therapy alternative to the gluten free diet.

Sheffield 2024 will be the forum where scientists, clinicians, allied healthcare professionals, patient organisations and, industry, will meet to exchange knowledge, experience and to foster cooperation.

The event website is live and registration is OPEN. Early bird discount rates apply up to 31 May 2024.

Abstract submission is also OPEN. The deadline for submission has been EXTENDED until 15 April 09:00 (GMT+1) and lead authors will be notified by 1 May.
